Which equipment is necessary to work with TALLY-MA?

You will need:

• 2.4 Wi-Fi network (normal wireless router)

• 5 Volt power source (e.g. power bank, power adapter)

• 1 USB to micro USB cable per Tally

• 1 PC or MAC machine to run the Server Software

What does Tally-MA work with?

Tally-MA is compatible with:

• Blackmagic ATEM (all models)

• vMix

• OBS Studio

• NewTek TriCaster

• Any system or device that can trigger HTTP requests

• Bitfocus Companion

• Legacy video switchers with GPIO/Tally plug (with an interface box for GPO or Raspberry PI 4 for GPI)

• Other systems compatible with Tally Arbiter software

What is the Tally-MA range?

The range varies depending on the wireless router being used, but each Tally has a normal range, like any other 2.4. Wi-Fi device.

Tally-MA can work even with a weak Wi-Fi connection.

Range extension is easy by adding a Wi-Fi access point where needed.

Cloud tally mode can expand range by using a mobile phone hotspot connection. (*internet connection is required both for tally and tally server)
